THE CONSTANCE PROJECT

Constance Marie Davenport
(Connie)

The Constance Project is named after our Founder and Executive Director, Dawn Samuelson's, late sister Constance Marie Davenport. Constance was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and active member of the NY/Niagara Full Air Force Reserves who died by suicide at the age of 25. Dawn and her brother, Ormus William Davenport IV, ("Bill"), a Marine Corp. Veteran, grieved over their sister's tragic death. Years later, The Constance Project was established.

Suicide among veterans is an issue of epidemic proportions. This program is designed to aid in the prevention of suicide and work with vets that experience the following: PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, bereavement, and more.

The NEIGH team welcomes veterans, active military, and their families to participate in The Constance Project.
