Emotional Coat Training - Level 1

Join us in a 3 Day Training to understand the magic behind how horses aid in improving psychological well-being. The Emotional Coat® is an Equine Assisted Service model with demonstrated results for individuals who have been impacted by traumatic events. This introductory course will lay the foundation of the model - equipping participants with a new perspective on identifying and navigating individual challenges.

Objectives:

• Understand the mechanisms behind how horses are effective for improving well-being

• Demonstrate understanding of the Emotional Coat and how it applies to yourself, the horse(s), and clientele

• Recognize equine behavior and identify indications of the behavior

• Distinguish when/how the Emotional Coat is impacting the working relationship
